Aplikasi Model Konservasi Levine pada Neonatus dengan Nyeri Akut

Abstract

Neonatus seringkali terpapar oleh prosedur invasif yang mengakibatkan nyeri. Tujuan dari studi kasus ini untuk menganalisis optimalisasi pemenuhan rasa nyaman pada neonatus melalui pengkajian nyeri dengan pendekatan aplikasi model Konservasi Levine. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan study kasus pada lima neonatus dengan usia gestasi <37 minggu dan berat badan lahir <2500 gram yang sedang menjalani perawatan di ruang Perinatologi serta memiliki masalah keperawatan nyeri akut. Hasil evaluasi akhir perawatan dari nyeri akut pada kelima kasus selama tujuh hari menunjukkan masalah nyeri akut teratasi sehingga pemenuhan kebutuhan rasa nyaman dapat diberikan secara optimal serta dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan neonatus. Kesimpulannya penerapan model konservasi levine dapat mengoptimalkan kenyamanan pada kelima kasus yang mengalami nyeri akut melalui pengkajian nyeri agar manajemen nyeri dapat diberikan dengan tepat.
