GAMBARAN TINGKAT DEPRESI KELUARGA PASIEN GANGGUAN JIWA

Abstract

ABSTRAK

Pendahuluan: Pasien gangguan jiwa mengalami perubahan perasaan, pikiran, dan perilaku, sehingga menurunkan minat dan motivasi individu dalam proses hidup di masyarakat. Metode: Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif.  Alat ukur menggunakan kuesioner terkait depresi yang berjumlah 14 pernyataan. Kuesioner tersebut merupakan bagian dari kuesioner Depression Anxiety Stres Scale 42.  Sampel penelitian berjumlah 96 responden.  Hasil: Mayoritas responden berada dalam tingkat depresi normal, 2 responden mengalami depresi berat, dan 1 responden mengalami depresi dalam tingkat sangat berat.  Diskusi: Perlu upaya yang harus dilakukan untuk mengatasi depresi pada keluarga pasien gangguan jiwa.

ABSTRACT

Introduction: Patients with mental disorders experience changes in feelings, thoughts, and behaviors, thereby decreasing the interest and motivation of individuals in the process of living in society. Method: The research used quantitative descriptive method. The measuring tool used a 14-word depression-related questionnaire. The questionnaire was part of the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale 42 questionnaire. The sample of the study amounted to 96 respondents. Result: Majority of respondents were in normal depression, 2 respondents were severely depressed, and 1 respondent was depressed at very severe levels. Discussion: It takes effort to be done to overcome depression in the family of mental patients. Keywords: Depression,  mental disorder
